This series of videos was produced by the ESIEE-Amiens school of engineering using our software solution Inscape SW. Our authoring tool enables budding engineers to develop AR maintenance applications tailored to the industry 4.0.

The second video shows a maintenance intervention on an industrial valve using a tablet: the operator follows contextual instructions (safety guidelines, step-by-step maintenance processes…), uses 3D-documentation to replicate procedures and sends an end-of-intervention report.

This use case demonstrates the benefits of using AR on mainstream mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones, for easy and scalable deployments.
