This series of videos was produced by the ESIEE-Amiens school of engineering using our software solution Inscape SW. Our authoring tool enables budding engineers to develop AR maintenance applications tailored to the industry 4.0.

The first video shows a maintenance procedure unfolding in the operator’s work environment, based on a simplified 3-D model of a conveyor belt dryer and using a Web interface to launch the operation.

This use case demonstrates the benefits of using AR for maintenance training to access contextual information easily and to visualise procedures, thereby completing tasks faster and reducing errors.
